Directions & Maps

Use our route planner to get directions to APCC or follow the attached directions from most NSEW directions.

We are just off the 'Monks Heath' A534/A34 traffic light junction to the North. APCC is just by the side of the A34 - turn into the gated entrance with the 'Club AZ' sign on it. Proceed down the small track. Either park immediately by the wooden cricket pavillion, or up to the leisure centre (which has the main change, shower block & bar).

Hmm. Tricky one, because the pitch doesn't actually have its own postcode. Our advice is put in postcode SK10 4TD which should get you to the second site South entrance and the cricket ground will be before the destination if you're travelling North (& after if you're heading south) and guide yourself in using the above detailed drawing or landmarks described below. Also, try any satellite map website to familiarise yourself with landmarks, etc.

New Alderley Park Bypass - new traffic light system and new road layouts now in force

The Alderley Bypass is now complete and open. The Club AZ entrance is now regulated by a traffic light system.

From Wilmslow & M56 J6

Follow signs into Wilmslow and follow A34 Congleton / Alderley Edge road signs as appropriate. Take the new Alderley Bypass or continue through Alderley Edge on the A34 South through Alderley Edge.

  • Bypass: The new Alderley Bypass exits at the South between the AZ site entrances. Just follow the Congleton (South) directions at the exit roundabout, go through the first (new) set of lights and then next left into Club AZ immediately after the cricket ground which will be visible on your left. If you go past the Tiger Lilly restaurant (formerly Little Chef) you've gone too far.
  • Through Alderley Edge: After the 'Nether Alderly Mill' (brown National Trust sign on LHS) continue south past 2 site entrance traffic lights. After the second set of lights you will see the cricket ground on the left at the new traffic light system. Turn left into the iron-gated entrance. If you go past the Tiger Lilly restaurant (formerly Little Chef) you've gone too far.

From M60 & Wilmslow (Handforth) Bypass

From M60 proceed South on Kingsway A34 (dual carriageway) past John Lewis/Sainsburys, M&S/Tesco. Keep on the bypass all the way and take the new Alderley Bypass; the new Alderley Bypass exits at the South between the AZ site entrances. Just follow the Congleton (South) directions at the exit roundabout, go through the first set of lights and then next left into Club AZ immediately after the cricket ground which will be visible on your left. If you go past the Tiger Lilly restaurant (formerly Little Chef) you've gone too far.

From Knutsford & M6 J19

From M6 or Knutsford Centre follow A537 Macclesfield road signs. Proceed through Allostock & Chelford. Go straight across Chelford roundabout (Shell Garage on LHS just before rb) and continue on signposted for Macclesfield. Continue to the first (new) set of traffic lights, filtering left into Bollington Lane at these lights. At the end (new traffic lights in operation) go straight across into the iron gated entrance of Club AZ and the cricket ground car park is on your left.

From M6 J18 / Holmes Chapel

Follow signs along the A535 Chelford / Macclesfield up to Chelford roundabout. Then follow the directions stated in the Knutsford section.

From Congleton

Proceed up the A34 North following signs for A34 Manchester / Alderley Edge. Just after Capesthorne Hall, proceed through the Monks Heath traffic lights; just after the Tiger Lilly restaurant (LHS) turn right into the iron-gated entrance (new traffic light syetm in operation). If you get to the site entrance traffic lights you've gone too far.
